All participants must sign an electronic waiver. This must be completed online before arrival using your booking reference number. Participants aged 6-17 need to have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. If you do not complete a waiver before arrival it may delay access to your booked session.

Please arrive 45 minutes before your session. This allows time to check in, collect your equipment and change and complete a safety brief. If you miss the safety brief you will not be able to go onto the waterpark. PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to arrive in good time. You are not eligible for a refund if you miss your session start time.

Minimum age is 6. Kids aged 6-9 (INCLUSIVE) need to be accompanied by an adult aged 18+ (three kids to one adult). Ages 10+ do not need an adult. Participants must be at least 1.20m tall to take part on the Waterpark obstacles.

Yes, they do. And if you or accompanying children have any questions regarding how to safely enjoy each and individual piece of equipment/apparatus on the WaterPark please do ask the management before starting your session.

Ages 6-9 can use the green beast slide. Ages 10 plus can use all three beast slides. All participants must slide feet first, on their back and have both hands placed at the SIDE of their head. They must wear the protective orange hat and ONLY slide when instructed to by the staff/lifeguard on duty

SUPs, kayaks, canoes and pedaloes are all rent on demand at reception.

Please book all full paying participants online and any participant using a hard copy voucher must present the voucher at reception. *All Half Price vouchers must be used by the end of the season in which they were issued.

Price: £25. per person for a one-hour session. An additional consecutive hour can be added for £15. online. Price includes access to The Beast Slide, wetsuit, and buoyancy aid hire. One pair of special aqua socks (these socks must be returned after the session, all socks are washed and prepped for re-use) will be provided per person. From time to time, Lake Kilrea Waterpark may offer promotional prices, discounts, or special offers through selected channels, including but not limited to social media, on-site promotions, or management-approved offers. These promotions may differ from standard prices shown on our website and are subject to their own terms and conditions. Promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount unless explicitly stated. The lake management reserves the right to refuse admission, refuse participation, or require any person to leave the premises at any time where it is considered necessary for safety, security, or the enjoyment of others. The management’s decision regarding admission, participation, and all offers is final.

Strictly no refunds. Where more than 24 hours’ notice is provided, a booking may be rescheduled or a voucher/booking credit issued to the value of the booking. A booking may be rescheduled once free of charge. Any further rescheduling will be subject to a £10 administration fee. Changes cannot be made within 24 hours of the booked session. Customers who do not attend their booked session (no-shows) will be charged in full. Where customers attend for their booked session and the booking has commenced, including where participants have checked in, been issued with equipment and/or received the mandatory safety briefing, the booking will be regarded as having been attended and services will have commenced. Should a participant subsequently decide not to take part or not to continue with their session for reasons unrelated to a cancellation or closure by Lake Kilrea Waterpark, any refund, voucher, credit or alternative arrangement offered will be entirely at management’s discretion and may take account of reasonable administrative costs already incurred and/or services and equipment already provided in connection with the booking. To request an eligible reschedule, please EMAIL your booking reference together with the preferred new date and time. Any rebooking credit or voucher must be redeemed within the same calendar year in which it is issued and cannot be transferred or carried forward to the following year. All rescheduling, booking credits, vouchers and discretionary arrangements are subject to availability and the applicable booking terms.

Wearing glasses is not permitted on the waterpark as they can break and cause injury to the wearer. Contact lenses or prescription goggles are our recommended alternative. Swimming goggles are allowed on the park.

No footwear permitted on the waterpark as they can damage the inflatables. Special lake aqua socks must be worn and are included in the cost of the waterpark ticket.

For the safety of all participants and to protect our equipment, customers may be asked to remove jewellery or personal items before entering the water park. Our signage offers general guidance, but each item is assessed individually by Lake Kilrea management and staff. Items such as plain wedding bands or small, smooth earrings may be allowed, while sharper or bulky items such as rings with raised settings, large earrings, watches, or bracelets may not. If an item is not considered suitable, customers will be asked to remove and safely store it before taking part. The decision of Lake Kilrea management and staff on the suitability of any item is final.

The waterpark is not suitable for pregnant women. Please notify management if you feel unwell before your session, have had broken/fractured bones or dislocations in the past which would concern management or may effect your ability on the WaterPark. Any person who has asthma, epilepsy , a heart condition or any other medical condition must make this known to management . Lake Kilrea management has the right to refuse entry to the waterpark. Photography & Video Notice By entering the premises of The Lake Kilrea, all visitors acknowledge and agree that photography and video recording may take place for promotional, marketing, and training purposes. Visitors grant permission for The Lake Kilrea and its affiliates to capture, use, and reproduce their image, likeness, and voice in any media format, without compensation, for lawful business purposes including but not limited to advertising, social media, website content, and staff training. If you have any concerns or wish to opt out, please speak to management upon arrival.

If you leave the Waterpark mid-session, for safety reasons you will NOT be able to rejoin the session. No refund will be given.

We are open weekends in May and June, every day in July and August and weekends in September. Opening times vary, please use the booking system to check specific date availability.

We cannot open during high winds or adverse weather conditions (lightening). Please note that in the event of adverse weather conditions, such as a yellow weather warning or higher, the Lake Kilrea Waterpark may close for the safety of our visitors and staff. In such cases, all pre-existing bookings will be rescheduled to a future date that suits our customers. Please understand that no refunds will be provided, as these closures are due to acts of nature and are not the fault of the Lake Kilrea Waterpark.

You need to be able to swim 25m unaided to participate in the water activities. You should be confident in water and must be able to swim from the jetty over to the waterpark unaided. Buoyancy aids are provided and must be worn at all times on the Waterpark, on paddlesports and on the jetty area.

Male and female toilets and changing areas for all participants. We also have a hot food, confectionary van and a coffee hut serving delicious cookies & donuts. Picnic tables are available at our viewing gallery areas and also in our marquee. Yes you can bring your own picnic/food (please tidy up after yourself). If wanting to bring a BBQ please check with management first.

Wetsuits are not compulsory but are included in the price. You are not permitted to use your own wetsuit due to ongoing concerns regarding algae. The water temperature is checked daily, if the temperature reads below 15 degrees participants must wear a wetsuit.

We are not responsible for your journey or traffic. We cannot get you onto the park if you miss your briefing session. We will try our best to help you, but we cannot be held responsible for your arrival, please remember there are NO REFUNDS.

Each session at Lake Kilrea Waterpark lasts one hour. Your one-hour session includes the mandatory safety briefing, entry onto the waterpark, your time on the waterpark, and your safe return to shore at the end of the session. The safety briefing forms part of your allocated session time and is compulsory for all participants. It’s designed to ensure the safety of everyone on the waterpark and can’t be skipped or delayed. Strongly recommend showing up at least 45 minutes before your booked session to allow enough time for check-in, changing, equipment fitting, and preparation. Customers who arrive late may have less time on the waterpark, as sessions can’t be extended. For safety, participants may be asked to leave the waterpark a few minutes early to allow enough time to return safely to shore before the next session begins. And this final bit’s important: by booking, you acknowledge that the advertised one-hour session refers to the complete waterpark experience, including the briefing, entry, exit, and all safety procedures.

No, we have a strict No Dog policy onsite at The Lake. Assistance dogs are welcome. ➡️ If you wish to fly a drone at the Lake Waterpark you must confirm permission in person at reception with management and have your operator licence available.
